My drawings are first and foremost the expression of a gesture, an idea, musical or choreographic, which I seek to develop the impulse, to perpetuate the movement.

This desire for spontaneity, reminiscent of the action painting or the jazz pianist Bill Evans,

Japanese sumi-e is here short-circuited by meticulous and obstinate work,

kind of opalkian countdown of time, loading line energy of moving forms, figurations of the fixed mobility of the plant world: to the multiplicity of visual perspectives corresponds to that of perspectives temporal.

His images are embodiments of dystopian planets where man is nothing more than a mechanical presence fighting for its existence against the vegetal world. He is trapped in vain prospects and  limited to enclosed universes or bound to endless repetitions.
